Another ham-handed “prediction” from conservative political analyst Mark Jones.
Perhaps hoping no one would notice, Jones quietly deleted an X post predicting that state representative Shawn Thierry would avoid a runoff fight with Lauren Simmons in March’s democratic primary.
Here’s the now deleted post, which was reposted by at least one TV news producer on election day:
Simmons actually bested Thierry 49.4% to 44.5% and the race will be decided in May since neither candidate crossed the threshold.
